A former English teacher and grammar, writing, and literature textbook author, Kim currently writes for WORLDteen, a high school magazine and website from the publishers of WORLD. She also serves as dramaturge and script adapter for The Greenville Shakespeare Company, a nonprofit theater group in Greenville, SC. She is the author of two children’s books: Mumsi Meets a Lion and Rodney Robbins and the Rainy-day Pond. Most recently she adapted the novels of Jean Hunt for the new play Mattie, Bogie, and Blackbeard’s Lost Treasure that premiered at the South Carolina Children’s Theatre this spring. She is a slow but persistent runner and a lover of all manner of trail mix.
