Mystie and her husband are both second-generation homeschoolers now classically homeschooling their five children. As the oldest of 7, Mystie had opinions about mothering and homeschooling and started keeping a list of all she would do differently than (i.e. better than) her mom when she was 10 (yes, her mom found that list).
She didn’t learn that lesson and still make lists about whatever is on her mind. She since has had to eat every word on that list she made about her own mother, by the way!
Mystie blogs at SimplyConvivial.com, offering not only plans and book lists and organizational systems, but also her musings as she wrestles with what “classical” means and, more specifically, what it looks like in real life with real kids in a homeschool family.
